The Performance Team Program was begun in 1995 for students that were interested in making a greater commitment through their love of dance and having increased performance opportunities. Originally known as Competition Team, the name was changed to reflect the fact that we do not consider our teams to be solely a competitive entity. Our teams not only attend local competitions and conventions but they put on many yearly shows and productions. Every year Performance Team members attend a workshop with a special guest instructor to broaden their knowledge and exposure to different styles of dance, and in 2005 our teams had the opportunity to perform during Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration. Our Performance Teams have also performed at Silverwood Theme Park, Milwaukie Daze Festival, Oaks Park, Gladstone Chatuaqua Festival and Pregame shows for the Portland Trailblazers just to mention a few! We love to PERFORM!
